Easy to store and use

A simple and easy way for a single person to rapidly assemble a barrier that can be used in several situations. Units nest together to minimise storage and haulage requirements. You can fit 10 FLOODSTOP modular units in a space 1 x 1.2 x 1.5 m. The photograph shows how easy it is to install the product. A single lady can quickly build an effective barrier - on her own.

Flooding Risks

Five million people live under the threat of flooding – that’s one in ten houses in the UK – and 200, 000 are very high risk - they have a one in 75 chance of suffering a flood each year. Insurance in flood hazard areas is becoming more expensive and less available, following the cancellation of the insurance industry guarantee of universal cheap flood protection at the end of 2002. So demand for temporary flood protection is growing rapidly.  Current products in the market do not meet all the needs for functional flood protection. Sandbags are still the most widely used method for protection but they take time to put together, they need large amounts of material, they need a team to assemble a barrier and THEY LEAK EXCESSIVELY and you can't re-use them.
